Fron Farm Caravan Park is a family run caravan and camping site near Mold in Flintshire, North Wales.

We are ideally located for a relaxing holiday in North Wales from where you can explore the North Wales Borderlands, Snowdonia, and Chester. We are only a 40 minute drive from Wirral and approximately 1 hour from Manchester.

Caravan and Camping Park Facilities

This is a spacious site of 8 acres with electric hook ups for 80 caravans and stunning views of the Clwydian Mountain Range in the North Wales Borderlands. The site is suitable for touring caravans, tents, and dormobiles. Seasonal pitches are sometimes available.

There are modern, purpose built clean facilities including two separate toilet blocks, free hot showers and a dishwashing area. Our new toilet and shower block is now open. There is a large disabled toilet unit and also a septic waste disposal point. There are numerous drinking water points around the field.

An Ideal Caravan Park for Families

Fron Farm Caravan and Camping Park is popular with families. It is a spacious grassy site nestling amongst the hills. Young children like to have a close look at the cows. We have friendly horses who love carrots and apples. There are paddocks on the caravan park in which the farmer puts different animals for you to see. Our Highland cattle and rare breed sheep are frequent visitors.

There is a large childrens play area on site including swings, climbing frames, slide and see saw. Children seem to make friends very quickly on this site and are soon occupying themselves. You could have a picnic or play your own family games on the large open farm fields surrounding the caravan park and take in the breathtaking scenery at the same time.

  • Bank Holiday rates apply on the following weekends: Easter, May Day, late May and August Bank Holiday.
  • High Season - 23-27 March, 1-13 April, 27 May - 1 June, 19 July - 22 August, 26-31 August.
  • Mid Season - 15 April - 2 May, 6-23 May, 2 June - 18 July.
  • Low Season - 2 September - 30 October.
  • Above rates are per night.
  • Open from 23rd March to 31st October (2013). All are grass pitches.
  • Electric hook up pitch prices are for 2 adults, 10 amp electric hook up, awning and 1 car per night for tent or caravan.
  • Group bookings are taken at our discretion only and cannot be guaranteed pitches together. Standard pitch prices are per person per night for tent – there is no electric hook up included in this price.
  • Day Visitors by prior arrangement and may be subject to a charge especially during high season/ bank holidays.
  • Minimum 3 nights stay over bank holidays on all pitches.
  • Showers and hot water included in the price.
  • A deposit of £25.00 is required on Electric Hook Up Pitch bookings taken over the phone,
  • A deposit of £15.00 is required on camping bookings taken over the phone.
  • Internet bookings give a 5% discount on the total price. A deposit of 25% is taken on these bookings.
  • If the total amount of your booking is less than the payable deposit then full payment will be requested at time of booking.

  • Arrivals are after 12.30pm. Arrivals before 12.30pm may be arranged subject to pitch availability but may be subject to an early arrival charge of £5.00.
  • Pitches must be vacated by 12 noon.
  • You are welcome to bring your bikes.
  • BBQs allowed – please keep them off the grass. Only charcoal to be burned please – no wood to be burned.
